Little More About Me.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

My Story

A survivor, who at birth was already laid out as if dead, with candles lit, awaiting my death. I came into this world at just 6 months and 8 days of gestation.

Due to the severity of my condition and the risk to my life, I came into this world at only 6 months and 8 days of gestation. One night, candles were already lit, anticipating that I might not survive until morning—but here I am.
The child of divorced parents, I grew up far from my mother and with a father who, from a distance, was loving and tried to be the perfect dad. Yet, he was mostly focused on doing what he could to put a little food on the table despite the hardships—caring for three children, a sick mother (my grandmother), and three siblings (my uncles), all under the same roof.
We didn’t have much, but the little we had still mattered.
I grew up surrounded by difficulties and the struggles with alcohol within my family. I didn’t know Jesus and had no idea of the challenges I would still face.
At some point in my youth, I found myself already trapped in pornography, consumed by depression, and haunted by a constant desire to die. My father was present, yet distant, and so the days passed as I drifted through life without direction.

I had the privilege of reconnecting with and caring for my mother, who, stricken by illness, eventually passed away. By then, I had already come to know Jesus and understood that she had been saved in Christ. My final farewell was on the way to the hospital, performing CPR on her, but without success. She was a strong woman who, even in the midst of hardships, taught me that there is never a reason for sadness, and that even when everything seems to be missing, there will always be reasons to thank God.
Walking with Christ, I met my beloved wife, we were blessed with our beautiful son Miguel, I completed two technical courses, graduated in Theology, and specialized in Religious Studies. Today, I help lead the youth in our local church, always seeking the Presence of God and His infinite mercy to guide me and enable me to bless the lives of others.
Even in the midst of many struggles I faced after accepting Christ—illness, financial losses, pornography, and suicidal thoughts—I want others to know that these challenges are not the end. In Christ, I discovered that it is possible to overcome and break through every obstacle.
Today, even while facing daily battles, I can look at my family and say: “Life is worth living; all we need is the Presence of God right now.” The Presence changes destinies, transforms generations, and can change your life.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
— Matthew 10:29–31
